Our nursery is open Monday to Friday, 7.00 am to 6.30 pm 51 weeks per year for parents who need help with childcare.  We offer the Government nursery funding for 3 & 4 years olds and also for 2 year olds (if eligible).  Tiny Toes is closed on all Bank Holidays and for one week during the Christmas and New Year period.  We base all of our fees on 51 weeks per year (or 39 weeks if attending term time), which are payable a month in advance.

When registering your child with Tiny Toes a fee of £30.00 is payable.  This registration fee does not apply for nursery funded children.

All of the sessions above include nappies, wipes and snacks.  Full day and school day sessions also include a hot lunch and full day sessions include a ‘high tea’.  Morning and afternoon only sessions do not include lunch, but a hot lunch can be available for a small extra charge.

For children who qualify for 2 year old funding and EYPP (Early Years Pupil Premium) lunch is provided free of charge.

Nursery Funding – Free Entitlement

Nursery funding is available to all 3, 4 and 5 year olds regardless of financial criteria.

Nursery funding is available to 2 year olds subject to eligibility.  There is no extra charge for lunch, nappies or wipes.  At Tiny Toes, we believe “free means free”.

All 3, 4 and 5 year olds are entitled to 12 to 15 hours a week of universal nursery funding, starting the term after their third birthday.

Extended nursery funding for 23 to 30 hours a week is available to qualifying families.

Nursery funding is available to eligible 2 year olds, who are entitled to 12 to 15 hours a week.

The above nursery funded hours can be stretched over 38 to 51 weeks of the year.

Guide to financial help towards your nursery fees


We are pleased to accept all recognised childcare vouchers.  You can ask your employer about their conditions on childcare vouchers, but if you need any more information please contact your local children’s information service.


This type of financial help is accessible to working people who have at least one dependant child.  The amount eligible depends on individual circumstances.  Click HERE for further information.


Tiny Toes Day Nursery is registered with the local authority and accepts the nursery funding.  Children aged 2 (if eligible), and all 3 and 4 years old are entitled to the nursery funding until they move up to primary school. 


You can get up to £500 every 3 months (up to £2000 a year) for each of your children to help with the costs of childcare.  Click HERE for further information.
